So close, no matter how far
Couldn’t be much more from the heart
Forever trusting who we are
and nothing else matters

Never opened myself this way
Life is ours, we live it our way
All these words I don’t just say
and nothing else matters

Trust I seek and I find in you
Every day for us something new
Open mind for a different view
and nothing else matters

never cared for what they do
never cared for what they know
but I know

So close, no matter how far
Couldn’t be much more from the heart
Forever trusting who we are
and nothing else matters

never cared for what they do
never cared for what they know
but I know

Never opened myself this way
Life is ours, we live it our way
All these words I don’t just say

Trust I seek and I find in you
Every day for us, something new
Open mind for a different view
and nothing else matters

never cared for what they say
never cared for games they play
never cared for what they do
never cared for what they know
and I know

So close, no matter how far
Couldn’t be much more from the heart
Forever trusting who we are
No, nothing else matters

See the nation through the people’s eyes,
See tears that flow like rivers from the skies.
Where it seems there are only borderlines
Where others turn and sigh,
You shall rise x2

There’s disaster in your past
Boundaries in your path
What do you desire will lift you higher?
You don’t have to be extraordinary, just forgiving.
And those who never heard your cries,
You shall rise x2
And look toward the skies.
Where others fail, you prevail in time.
You shall rise.

Awu indoda yam

Ukubu izi ingane zabo zodlala zibuzuswa
Ingane ezindane zabo zodlala zibuziswa

(You may never know,
If you lay low, lay low) x4
You shall rise x3

Sooner or later we must try… Living
(You may never know,
If you lay low, lay low) x4

See the nation through the people’s eyes,
See tears that flow like rivers from the skies.
Where it seems there are only borderlines
Where others turn and sigh,
You shall rise x4

(You may never know,
If you lay low, lay low) 4x

Sooner or later we must try… Living

I like this video because it gives an image of Darfur which is not stereotyped or frozen. On the contrary, we see people smiling, laughing, dancing, expressing their joy and being alive even if in bad life conditions.

dalla sceneggiatura di Medea

——————

Espressa, da capo a piedi,

eretta, con la paura che una donna deve avere

 e le giuste speranze;

titubante e certa,

calcolatrice e scoperta fino ai precordi

uccellino con potente voce di aquila

e aquila tremante -

alleata di quel cielo -

parte di un cosmo unico -

da te si diparte la Donna

che scende all’inferno

e in un giorno di pioggia con la luna nuova -

canta in voce con una giovinetta assetata d’incruente stragi -

vada, vada quella Donna in quei Regni;

ciò non ti riguarda

Vi troverò l’altra Donna, s’è possibile ancora più adulta,

fattucchiera maledetta, dragone abitatore di cliniche,

e ne proverà giusta e giusta rabbia;

immobile
dietro la casa che
l’ha vista crescere
senza un perché,
immobile.
Lei sa rimpiangere,
lei sa urlare a voce spenta
e guarda immobile
la vita d’altri che
la rifletterà
come un viaggio a metà.
Luna immobile
E tutto intorno c’è
La sua ostilità,
tutta l’oscurità.
Un tempo instabile,
la sabbia delle idee
che umide non volano.
L’autunno carico
Di vento limpido
La lascerà immobile
Come un qualcosa che
Non è stato mai sfiorato.
Guarda immobile
La vita d’altri che
La rifletterà
Come un viaggio a metà.
Luna immobile
e tutto intorno c’è
la sua ostilità,
tutta l’oscurità.
Un tempo instabile,

Babe, baby, baby, Im gonna leave you.
I said baby, you know Im gonna leave you.
Ill leave you when the summertime,
Leave you when the summer comes arollin
Leave you when the summer comes along.

Baby, baby, I dont wanna leave you,
I aint jokin woman, I got to ramble.
Oh, yeah, baby, baby, I wont be there,
Really got to ramble.
I can hear it callin me the way it used to do,
I can hear it callin me back home.

I know, I never leave you, baby.
But I got to go away from this place, Ive got to quit you.
Ooh, baby,
Baby, ooh dont you hear it callin?
Woman, woman, I know, I know its good to have you back again
And I know that one day baby, its really gonna grow, yes it is.
We gonna go walkin through the park every day.
Hear what I say, every day.
Baby, its really growin, you made me happy when the skies were grey.
But now Ive got to go away
Baby, baby, baby, baby
Thats when its callin me
Thats when its callin me back home…

Shout
Shout
Let it all out
These are the things I can do without
Come on
I’m talking to you
Come on

In violent times
You shouldn’t have to sell your soul
In black and white
They really really ought to know
Those one track minds
That took you for a working boy
Kiss them goodbye
You shouldn’t have to jump for joy

Shout

They gave you live and in return you gave them hell
As cold as ice
I hope we live to tell the tale

Shout

And when you’ve taken down your guard
If I could change your mind
I’d really love to break your heart

Today, dear readers, we stay still in Spagna Square but taking a look at the Fontana della Barcaccia (Fountain of the Old Boat), realized in 1627 by Pietro Bernini and his son Gian Lorenzo: remember the latter because he was a very important sculptor and architect during Baroque age and we will meet him again when in Navona Square, another famous place in Rome. About the fountain portrayed in the photos I can also tell you something personal. That is to say, when I was 12, the first time in Rome in my life, it was August and really hot. To refresh myself I looked for every water source near me and I also put my feet for some minutes in the Fontana della Barcaccia

Here some views of the square with the fountain at the centre and via Condotti crowded of people during a Saturday afternoon.

Words like violence
Break the silence
Come crashing in
Into my little world
Painful to me
Pierce right through me
Cant you understand
Oh my little girl

All I ever wanted
All I ever needed
Is here in my arms
Words are very unnecessary
They can only do harm

Vows are spoken
To be broken
Feelings are intense
Words are trivial
Pleasures remain
So does the pain
Words are meaningless
And forgettable

All I ever wanted
All I ever needed
Is here in my arms
Words are very unnecessary
They can only do harm

Enjoy the silence

Enigma - Beyond the Invisible

I look into the mirror
See myself, I’m over me
I need space for my desires
Have to dive into my fantasies
.
I know as soon as I’ll arrive
Everything is possible
Cause no one has to hide
Beyond the invisible
.
Latvian Chant
Sajaja bramani totari ta, raitata raitata, radu ridu raitata, rota
(Translation
The brave and wise men came together on horse)

Close your eyes
Just feel and realize
It is real and not a dream
I’m in you and you’re in me
.
It is time
To break the chains of life
If you follow you will see
What’s beyond reality
.
Ne irascaris Domine,
ne ultra memineris iniquitatis:
ecce civitas Sancti facta est deserta:
Sion deserta facta est:
Ierusalem desolata est:
domus sanctificationis tuae et gloriae tuae
(Translation
Do not be angry Lord,
or remember iniquity forever:
behold the Holy City is a desert:
Sion is mad a desert:
Jerusalem is desolate:
the house of your holiness and glory )

1.jpgHALLO EVERYBODY!!!!!!!

Boys and Girls,

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, Gentili Signore e Signori, Chers Madames et Messieurs, Liebe Frauen und Maennern, Queridos Senora y Senores,

this post is for you living in: Europe; North, Central and South America; Asia; Middle East; Australia and New Zealand; Africa!!

I have prepared a special present to show you why Rome wasn’t built in a day, as Morcheeba rightly sing in my previous post.

I am sure that you are planning a stay in Rome for the next spring or summer, and now I am here because, with my brief words and some photos, you will be ready to fully appreciate this wonderful city as any other guide as never shown you before.

For today we can open with a typical tourist destination in Rome: Spagna Square. When you are in the central Termini Station, you can easily reach the square taking the orange subway, line A, direction Battistini and in some minutes get off at Spagna stop. Going always straight on, high fashion shops and fascinating shop-windows will appear in front of your eyes. In fact, for this first episode of our virtual promenade in Rome, we will begin with via Condotti. Here are my photos about some attractive ways to dress the shop-windows and there is also someone bying beautiful clothes!!
